Yales Brightest Student of History:
that B was an unusually high score for Bush, but he must have bribed his professors:
"In the trenches of World War I, through a two-front war in the 1940s, the difficult battles of Korea and Vietnam, and in missions of rescue and liberation on nearly every continent, Americans have amply displayed our willingness to sacrifice for liberty. . . ."
"Greece in 1947"? We installed a dictatorship. Bush must mean by "liberty" what LBJ meant when he told Greece after they finally did have an elected government, "Fuck your Parliament and your Constitution. ...If your Prime Minister gives me talk about Democracy, Parliament and Constitution, he, his Parliament, and his Constitution may not last very long." Now we have Bush, Mr. Three Cheers for the Venezuelan Coup and I Heart Karimov t-shirt, drumming up the country's septic tanks as promotional material.
Very interesting stategy, but this isn't going to sell in the middle east: they've been living under US-assisted infidels too long.
