When the lights go out in the rest of the world:
What do our cousins say?
They're playing in the sun and having fun fun fun
Til daddy takes the gun away.
Everywhere we went men, women and small children demanded, "electricity, water... electricity, water," in varying tones edging on hostility. "It's very, very hot. No air conditioning. No water. We can't live." Not only is there no power for air conditioners and fans, but there is no electricity to activate the central water system, so many people cannot take showers to cool off or even rinse the sweat off their bodies.
