    well, who killed the electric SUV then?:

    One with "a governed top speed of 78 mph (~126 km/h) with a range of 100 to 120 miles", manufactured between 1999 and 2003? I see there's all kinds of arguments back and forth about the battery patent rights, but, like, let's focus on the human race here: how fucking retarded is the world's most advanced and upright ape if they can build perfectly serviceable all-electric trucks with perfect city-suburb ranges to satisfy all those high end soccer moms with the American flag decals on their Hummers, and they discontinue it in the middle of the long ascent towards quadrupling the price of petrol?

    The MSRP on the RAV4 EV was $42,000. The 2009 Hummer is $61,310. Doesn't sound cost prohibitive to me, if I were the sort of idiot willing to pay more than a few grand on something guaranteed to lose most of its value.
