meh:
kerry retakes the lead during the RNC, and democrats prove they can debase the discussion with irrelevant ad campaigns too. That theirs gets verified by the press and the swift boat folks (eventually) get debunked, while a notable difference in the ad campaigns, shouldn't blind us to the fact that niether of these jokers are qualified to be president. Can't say that Bush didn't ask for it, I suppose Kerry should respond by denouncing 527 and 501(c) political ad campaigns. I say we just ban political advertising period and make the press do its job. It's going to be a very silly two months.
Is there anybody who really hears "dismissed so-and-so as a 'partisan Democrat or Republican'" and thinks of it as an actual counter-argument? Where's the resurgence of AWOL accusations stemming from? Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower, Reserve Affairs, Installations and Logistics under Ronald Reagan from 1981-1985, Lawrence J. Korb. I dismiss this all as just another partisan Republican offensive against the President.
Plus (for the WP link above):
"A news analysis article in Business Day yesterday about the economy's lackluster rate of job creation misstated the pace of employment growth foreseen by the president's Council of Economic Advisers last December. To realize the council's forecast of the total number of jobs held by Americans in 2004, the economy would have to create more than 300,000 jobs a month this year, not 216,000."
