And yet the author can keep a straight face when talking about "the model democracy the U.S. set out to build" when talking about the Bushies, who are blowing up civillians in Iraq for attacks in New York, professing to represent Muslims in nations they have never visited, and which they might have difficulty pointing to on a map .
