I've barely paid attention and already I'm confused; I watched John Edwards on Hardball tonight and within 30 seconds of his saying "I do not support gay marriage." he turns around on gays in the military and says "I think everybody should be treated the same." Not much for consistency this guy - not that I expect that much from lawyers - yet he's still the one joker out of the sorry lot that doesn't use a winch when he turns my stomach. Well, except Al Sharpton, Al tickles me.

Matthews really scewers Edwards on the campaign donations from his lawyer pals, I don't seem to recall anybody (excepting the usuals) giving Bush a hard time for the backing he recieved from energy conglomerates, so I found that a little odd, if not predictable.
